Bernard and Kelvin held their same-sex civil service and reception at Cultra Manor, an Edwardian mansion on the outskirts of Belfast. After the ceremony, the grooms sneaked off with a few friends for some portraits around the nearby Ulster Folk Museum. The couple were keen to not let the political significance of a same-sex wedding in Northern Ireland overshadow what was, for them, a very personal and intimate occasion with their loved ones. It was an honour for us to cover this beautiful occasion!
